    Insurance

Transcendent Psychiatry is in-network with Cigna and Blue Cross Blue Shield, including CareFirst and the Federal Employee Program (FEP).

At this time, Transcendent Psychiatry is not accepting Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Lastly, Transcendent Psychiatry is out-of-network with all other commercial insurance plans.

Transcendent Psychiatry advises patients to contact their insurance company for specific out-of-network policies. If an insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, a statement of charges, which is provided at the end of each visit, can be submitted by the patient to the insurance company for reimbursement.

    Payment

For information about the current fee schedule, please contact Transcendent Psychiatry.

For self-pay patients, a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges is available per a Federal law called the No Surprises Act. Information is available in a PDF document and at cms.gov/nosurprises. Please contact Transcendent Psychiatry for further details.

Initial Appointments: The full appointment fee will need to be paid via credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card at least 24 hours prior to the session.

Follow-Up Visits: Payment is due at the time of service. Fees can be paid with credit card, debit card, HSA/FSA card, check, or cash.

    Therapists

If a patient is working with an existing therapist, psychologist, or counselor, Transcendent Psychiatry would be happy to collaborate.

    Telehealth

Telehealth visits are only available for patients physically present in Maryland at the time of the appointment. At Transcendent Psychiatry, a HIPAA-compliant, video-based platform is utilized to ensure privacy and convenience.

    Cancellations

For cancellations, Transcendent Psychiatry kindly requests at least 24 hours’ notice (not including weekends and Federal holidays). If a visit is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, a no-show fee will be charged.

    Late Arrivals

In case of late arrivals, the full appointment fee will be charged, and the session will last for the time remaining in the scheduled visit.
